Chlorine Testing

Wendy is the coordinator for the chlorine testing schedule. Please volunteer for your month by signing up.

  1. Please notify Wendy if you can not monitor during your scheduled month.
  2. If sample bottles are discolored then please replace. Contact Wayne for replacements.
  3. Extra free chlorine pillows are found in the brown cupboard in the pump house.
  4. Wayne will check the colorimeter for calibration any time it is requested.
  5. Forget how to use the colorimeter ? See the Chlorine Testing Protocol document below.
  6. Testing is conducted at volunteer's homes. Wayne will test readings at the pump house and will be responsible for refilling the solution tank. 
  7. Monthly testing schedule is listed below.
  • We follow the chlorine protocol below and have found through monitoring our levels, that the range of 0.10 to 0.80 mg/lt ensures that our free chlorine is in the 80% objective of the total chlorine in our system .
